In time for the start of the outdoor season, VARTA Consumer Batteries has expanded its Outdoor Sports range with light, colorful and robust flashlights in three different sizes. Their photoluminescent Angel Eye glow-in-the dark ring is particularly practical, making the flashlights easy to find in low light conditions. The three new models in the LED Outdoor Sports range are available as of now.

Searching for things in the dark is a nightmare, even for absolute camping veterans. And it's even worse if your flashlight has also disappeared without a trace. The LED Outdoor Sports Flashlights from VARTA Consumer Batteries feature an Angel Eye function, which solves that tricky problem. It relies on a tried-and-tested solution – photoluminescent material makes the head of the flashlight glow fluorescent green. It is recharged by any ambient light, and while the flashlight itself is in use. The IPX4 water resistant casing ensures the full functionality of the 5 W high-power LED, which has two settings, even in wet weather. Depending on the model, the highest setting offers a beam range of up to 160 m (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 2AA) and total light output of up to 310 lm (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 3C). On top of that, the flashlights have proven their resilience in a drop test from a height of 2 m.
Eye-catcher with innovative materials and functions
Their anodized aluminum (type II) construction means the colorful flashlights weigh a maximum of 313 g (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 3C). A red (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 3AAA), yellow (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 2AA) and blue (LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 3C) rubber handle and a lanyard ensure maximum ease of use. The blue LED Outdoor Sports Flashlight 3C also features an integrated bottle opener in the handle.
