VARTA Mini Powerpack wins the 2014 Red Dot Design Award

International success for VARTA: The new VARTA Mini Powerpack has won the 2014 Red Dot Design Award. Earlier this year, two products from the VARTA Consumer portfolio received already the international CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award.

The little power player from the VARTA Portable Power series has come out on top among fierce international competition, taking home the 2014 Red Dot Design Award. Sixty minutes of additional talk time in a pocket-sized format, perfect for smartphones with Micro USB and Apple 30-pin dock connectors and packaged in intelligent, innovative design won over the panel of judges.

The Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest product design and innovation competitions worldwide. Every year, a panel of experts evaluates products from around the world and awards prizes to the very best ones. The winning products are on display at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany for one year after receiving the prize.
