The reason: Without aids, they are often not visible to the naked eye. The new, compact UV flashlight from VARTA is a useful hygiene helper to keep the hygiene level high in modern everyday life. UV light gives parties the right look, helps forensics in almost every crime series around the world to catch the culprit, and even Hollywood uses the properties of UV lights to detect secret information. But apart from the fiction of film and television, UV light is playing an increasingly important role in everyday life, especially for private households and when it comes to hygiene.
Ultraviolet vision
With the new UV flashlight with Multi UV LED technology from VARTA, residues of dirt or pets urine become visible - thanks to a UV wavelength of 395-400 nm. The VARTA UV Light can also be used to check fingerprints, banknotes and fluorescents. With a length of almost twelve centimeters and a diameter of approx. three centimeters, the UV Light is hardly bigger than the average palm. This makes the lamp easy to handle and, at 68 grams, light enough to use it to make dirt visible when you are out and about. The aluminum body with rubberized handle is shock proof and protects both the 14 UV LEDs inside and the included three AAA batteries, which allow a runtime of up to 8.5 hours.
