The LCD Charger+ series impressively combines state-of-the-art NiMH charging technologies with typically stylish VARTA V-element design. And with these new chargers, the VARTA Group is also responding to the need for a more responsible use of natural resources. To meet users’ diverse needs, the LCD Charger+ Series is equipped with single-slot charging, an improved and larger LCD display, and several different charging modes. These convenient features make it possible to charge batteries of different sizes even more flexibly and quickly than before.

With the further developed LCD Charger⁺ series, VARTA Consumer Batteries presents five intelligent products that can flexibly charge batteries of different sizes. These user-friendly chargers in VARTA V-element design can charge or discharge batteries and, thanks to a new conditioning mode, they can also check the batteries’ condition even better than before. The charger automatically detects older batteries and gives them reduced pulses of current to gently prepare them for charging. The chargers in the LCD Charger⁺ series guarantee absolute flexibility and optimal charging results thanks to individual single-slot charging. AAA, AA, C, D and 9V NiMH batteries, as well as external devices connected via USB cable, can all be simultaneously charged to their maximum capacity via as many as eight individually monitored charging bays. The refresh function reactivates weak or damaged batteries through repeated charging and discharging cycles and also extends their useful lifespan.

The enlarged and now even clearer LCD displays of the LCD Smart Charger⁺ and LCD Ultra Fast Charger⁺ provide detailed information on each individual battery’s charging process and current charging status, e.g. voltage (V), charging and discharging current (mA), and elapsed charging time (in minutes). The LCD Plug Charger⁺, the LCD Multi Charger⁺ and the LCD Universal Charger⁺ can fully recharge batteries within 4 hours¹. The LCD Smart Charger⁺ fully charges batteries in 1.5 hours², while the LCD Ultra Fast Charger⁺ recharges batteries in a record time of only 15 minutes in mains operation³ and can also be quickly ready for use in a car thanks to its 12V adapter. To assure that travelers always have fully charged batteries on hand, all LCD Charger⁺ devices can be used in all power networks worldwide.
