Bring Light into the Darkness
The big F30R flashlight is the top model in the series. This powerful flashlight contains a CREE High Performance LED with ten watts of power, a luminosity of 700 lumens and a beam range up to 300 meters. These specs make the F30R the brightest flashlight currently available from VARTA Consumer Batteries. An adequate supply of energy is assured by a permanently installed lithium-ion rechargeable battery with extendible micro-USB-in and USB-A-out to easily charge the F30R or to serve as a power bank, e.g. for a smartphone. A matching micro-USB cable is included along with the device. A red LED glows to signal low battery status; a blue blinking LED indicates that charging is in progress.
The user can conveniently adjust the brightness in three levels via the on-off switch. The light cone of the F30R can be individually focused by sliding the lamp head forward or backward. Furthermore, stroboscopic mode can be activated to attract helpers’ attention in emergency situations. An integrated metal clip makes it easy to attach this flashlight to clothing or a pocket, so the F30R will always be close at hand whenever it’s needed. IPX4 certification guarantees protection against sprayed water, so this model can readily cope with a downpour. Even a plunge from a height of two meters won’t damage the F30R.
Compact and Strong
With the F20R from the same series, VARTA introduces an extremely compact, uncommonly bright, high-performance flashlight in an ergonomic design. Thanks to its high-quality aluminum case, this model can survive a fall from a height of two meters just as easily as it can handle contact with sprayed water. Like its larger counterpart, the F20R is equipped with a stroboscopic mode for emergencies and can be readily charged via a micro-USB cable. A seven-watt CREE High Performance LED ensures a beam range up to 147 meters with a luminosity of 400 lumens. Thanks to its compact design and its built-in metal clip, the Night Cutter F20R can be conveniently clipped to trousers or a backpack, where it remains a loyal companion while its user is away from home.
Starting in May 2018, the Night Cutter F30R is available for 49.99 euros (RRP) and the Night Cutter F20R for 36.99 euros (RRP).
