Thanks to VARTA, there will be no more desperate searching of shop shelves!
Find batteries quickly with the help of the app
The app offers four different search functions: search by size or type, search by device, camera recognition of batteries and camera recognition of button cells. That means the user can search in different ways – regardless of whether they know which battery size they need. The intuitive, clearly laid out interface helps you find the right battery in just a few steps. The app’s functions are also explained in step-by-step videos.
One click is all it takes!
If you know the size or type of battery, you can use the "size and type search" function: just choose the required battery from a list or enter the size manually. To find the best battery for a particular device, the user can choose the function "search by device". Once the device and battery size have been selected, the recommendation is displayed.
Always the right battery thanks to camera recognition
Even if the battery size and type are unknown, VARTA offers a very simple solution: the "camera recognition of batteries" and "camera recognition of button cells" functions allow users to search
easily using a photo of the old battery. All the user has to do is take a picture of the battery against
a light background. The app shows the correct position for the battery or button cell and a
true-to-scale image of the item with information regarding the type.
It doesn’t get any easier!
The displayed image of the packaging makes it easy to find the recommended battery on the supermarket shelf – without wasting any time searching or going to the trouble of bringing empty batteries with you. Additionaly, users can also opt-in for news, competitions and information about new products from VARTA directly in the app.
The Battery Finder App of VARTA will be now available from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
