VARTA launches a product that combines all customer requirements in one device with the LCD Smart Charger
Information at a glance – A big, green LC display shows all information on the charging process and lets you know the current charging status immediately. After a charging time of only 1.5 hours for 2x AA 1600 mAh batteries your rechargeable cells are quickly ready for use again.
Recharge batteries safely – The new charger by VARTA is easy to use and offers several safety features such as a Minus Delta U cut-off, a Delta Peak detection for optimal fast charging, a temperature control and a timer for overcharge protection. In addition, the LCD Smart Charger by VARTA recognizes damaged batteries and the wrong polarity.
Able to multitask – The additional USB port allows for charging of other devices such as smartphones or iPods at the same time.
Stylish and modern – The new charger by VARTA features a clear-cut and elegant design with a textured surface.
The LCD Smart Charger features smart charging electronics
The high-quality device charges and discharges batteries and determines their current capacity. Thanks to the refresh function the life of weak batteries is extended through several discharge/charge cycles.
There are four independently controlled slots to charge AA or AAA batteries. The LCD Smart Charger by VARTA comes with four pre-charged AA batteries (2100 mAh) that are immediately ready for use. Travelers will be able to use their rechargeable batteries wherever they go, as the charger is also compatible with all electric power systems around the world.
The LCD Smart Charger by VARTA is available from April 2015 onwards.
