Put your phone down – charge it – ready! The new Qi-certified Wireless Charger by VARTA for smartphones

Scattered cables and different chargers are a thing of the past with the new Wireless Charger by VARTA. Put your phone down, charge it – ready! This is how simple the wireless charging of smartphones works thanks to the Wireless Charger.

VARTA presents a premium device of the latest generation in the VARTA range of wireless chargers with excellent value for money, ultra-slim elegant design and the latest technology: the Wireless Charger.

How does wireless charging work?

The magic word is magnetic induction. In simplified terms, an alternating magnetic field is created in the primary coil of the Wireless Charger, which in turn generates a voltage in the secondary coil of your phone that charges its battery.

High-tech meets premium design

The ultra-slim VARTA Wireless Charger combines clear-cut design with the latest Qi-certified charging technology. The Qi technology was developed and is operated by the globally active Wireless Power Consortium (WPC).

Devices that have been Qi-certified are tested in special laboratories in order to ensure a high level of quality. Qi-certification is thus the global standard that guarantees consumers best quality and compatibility with all devices that carry the Qi-logo. By the way: The word “Qi” is Chinese and means “natural energy” or “energy flow”.

The VARTA Wireless Charger stands out with a charging time of about three hours per smartphone1 and the ability to use all electric power systems around the world. A LED light indicates that charging is in progress. The VARTA Wireless Charger comes with a one meter long micro USB cable and an AC adapter. Four rubber feet at the bottom prevent the Wireless Charger from slipping.

Before using the VARTA Wireless Charger you need to make sure whether your smartphone is directly compatible2 with the Qi-technology or whether you need accessories like the Qi-Case3 or the Qi-Receiver4 for charging.

The VARTA Wireless Charger comes in an elegant environment-friendly PET packaging. A viewing window allows customers to have a look at the slim and elegant design of the Wireless Charger.

The Wireless Charger by VARTA is available from April onwards and is excellent value for money for a device of state of the art technology.

VARTA Wireless Charger                                   RRP (incl. VAT): € 49.99
